INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts cornerback Patrick Robinson enjoyed getting back to work Thursday. After leaving the Denver game two weeks ago with a concussion, Robinson went through almost two full weeks in the concussion protocol. Finally, on Thursday, he was cleared for full participation and he looks as if hell be starting Sunday in London. He cant wait. Its no fun going through the process like this, especially when you want to be out there on the field, Robinson said Thursday. But Im clear now, and Im ready. The Colts (1-2) are eager to get him back, too, after being so thin in the secondary against Denver that they almost ran out of players to use in their usual nickel package. Now, suddenly, everybody seems to be on the mend.Pro Bowl safety Mike Adams has been the anchor and will continue to play that role.Safety Clayton Geathers, the projected starter heading into training camp, returned two weeks ago after missing all of July, August and the first part of September with an injured foot. After making his season debut against the Broncos, Geathers was sore. This week, not so much.Safety T.J. Green, the rookie who replaced Geathers on the depth chart, returned last week from a sprained knee and has practiced all of this week. And Indys other starting cornerback Vontae Davis finally made it back last week after missing more than a month with a sprained ankle. Hes also expected to start against Jacksonville (0-3) .Its about time. When the injuries hit, first-year defensive coordinator Ted Monachino improvised by shrinking the playbook, using anyone capable of playing and willing to fill in the gaps, held on until key contributors, such as Davis and Robinson, were given the all clear. Now, the Colts can start to open things up.See this smile on my face? Adams said. It feels good. Im not taking anything away from the other guys who filled in, but now that weve got guys healthy, it does make a difference with how we game plan.Adams, Monachino and coach Chuck Pagano havent dropped any hints this week about what might change. But this much is clear: Indy will have far more options available in Week 4 , and they plan to use everything they can against a team that set a franchise record with 51 points in their previous meeting. The further we go down the road with them the better theyll get and right now theyre in a good spot for where theyve been in terms of how far off the injuries they are, Monachino said. I think that theyre all getting better every day, you can see it on the practice field.Game notes The Colts will be without backup offensive lineman Jonotthan Harrison on Sunday. Pagano said he had an emergency appendectomy this week and is expected to be out at least a week. ... Starting right tackle Joe Reitz (back) and starting right guard Denzelle Good (back) both did limited work in practice Thursday. Its unclear if or how much theyll play Sunday. ... Receiver T.Y. Hilton (knee) and quarterback Andrew Luck (right shoulder) did all the work at practice Thursday. Hilton got an extra day of rest Wednesday, while Luck was limited.---Online: AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFLBruno Caboclo Jersey . The Goldeyes committed three errors on Tuesday, leading to a trio of unearned runs in a 6-5 loss to the Sioux Falls Canaries. Its the seventh consecutive game Winnipeg has committed at least one error. Jake Taylor gave Sioux Falls an early first inning lead with an RBI double that scored Nick Van Stratten, who had reached on an Amos Ramon error. The Canaries added one more run in the frame to take a 2-0 lead and in the very next inning, Taylor tacked on another with a two-out solo home run. The Goldeyes put a pair up in the third inning. Back-to-back RBI groundouts from Ryan Scoma and Josh Mazzola made it a one-run game, but Sioux Falls restored the three-run lead in the fourth off a pair of home runs from Jared Clark, his league leading 8th, and Tim Puhata. The sixth inning has been a big one for Winnipeg all season and it was once again on Tuesday. Scoma would score on a Mazzola double to begin the inning. Later, the Goldeyes were able to capitalize on a Canaries error, as Mazzola scored on a Taylor throw away. Nate Samson would then come up with a two out single to tie the game up at 5-5. Winnipegs defence would put the game back in Sioux Falls court in their half of the sixth. Ramons second error of the game allowed Clark to reach and he would score on a sacrifice fly to put the Canaries backk on top by one.dddddddddddd The Goldeyes had one last chance in the ninth against Canaries closer Alan DeRatt. The Goldeyes got a second life when the Canaries couldnt catch a Nick Liles infield popup for the games final out. However, Liles tried to advance to second on the play and was tagged out to end the game. “We just didnt play great defense,” said Goldeyes pitching coach Jamie Vermilyea on the TSN 1290 post-game show. “We left a couple of pitches up and they hit them out of the park.” Kyle Vazquez worked two scoreless innings in relief to improve to 2-2. He struck out two and allowed one hit. DeRatt picked up his four save of the season. Pete Gehle took the loss for Winnipeg in his first start since May 25. Activated from the disabled list before the game, Gehle went 5.1 innings giving up three earned runs on nine hits. He allowed all three of the Canaries home runs. The Goldeyes drop to 9-3 on the road so far this season. “He had a good two-seamer going, but he was struggling to locate it,” said Vermilyea. “He battled out there without his best stuff.” The two teams meet again tomorrow night for their third of four games this week.
