The injuries keep piling up for No. 21 Utah, which announced Monday morning that running back Armand Shyne would miss the rest of the season with an unspecified leg injury.Shyne, Utahs leading rusher with 373 yards on 78 carries and four touchdowns, went down in the fourth quarter of the Utes 36-23 win Saturday over Arizona. Prior to his injury, he had rushed for 101 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown against the Wildcats.Shyne is the fifth starter Utah has lost to a season-ending injury in 2016. The Utes are down two centers after losing Hiva Lutui in spring camp and J.J. Dielman, a second-team all-conference tackle who moved to center. Dielman was injured on Oct. 1 against California. Neither has a redshirt year available.Also lost were tight end Siale Fakailoatonga and defensive end Kylie Fitts. Both plan to apply for medical extensions.Utah was already thin at running back when Joe Williams, the preseason starter, opted to retire two weeks into the season.
